I interviewed Cole Maita. He’s not your typical entrepreneur. Instead, he fits the category of cereal entrepreneur. He has started several businesses beginning at age 15 and continues down that path today, working on two distinctly different projects. We had a very interesting conversation about, how he started, what drives him, and networking. I hope you all enjoy! – Chase
SME Interview: Cannon Hartzog
I conducted my most recent SME interview with Cannon Hartzog, owner of Asheville Design Company and Cornerstone Homes. Cannon is a relatively younger entrepreneur compared to some of the other SMEs I have interviewed so far as far as entrepreneurial years are concerned (5-6 years). His story is unique because his first passion is in design/architecture. However, he shared some valuable information regarding business lessons he has learned from his experience taking over a family business as well as starting his own. Hope you enjoy!
Interview with Meggie Williams and Skiptown
I had the chance to interview Meggie Williams who is the Founder and CEO of Skiptown. Not only is Skiptown close to what I want to do with Legendary Dogs but she really has amazing advice for the start up route. I was so blessed and honored to be able to spend 45 minutes with her. The zoom crashed after 25 minutes and it wouldn’t let me record anymore.

SME Interview with Jeff Lamb Socius Capital
I had the pleasure of interviewing Jeff Lamb. Nearly 10 years ago, Jeff and I worked for the same employer, however we rarely interacted as he was an EVP of the global business whose primarily focus was taking the company public. He is currently a Partner at Socius Capital, which is a small firm that he and a few friends formed that buys or invests in small to medium sized business.
