I had the pleasure of sitting down with David Wessell, founder of Ringfree Communications in Hendersonville, NC for a chat about his experience as an entrepreneur. I’ve worked with David for a few years now as his client and can say with confidence that his vision and determination should be an inspiration to entrepreneurs everywhere.
Ringfree has developed a Voice-Over-IP (VOIP) phone system with a high emphasis on customer service. While most of their competitors are resellers of someone else’s technology, Ringfree writes the software that controls the user experience. This puts them in a unique position to react quickly to client requests and differentiates them in a significant way.
Ringfree is headquartered in Hendersonville, NC and supports clients nationwide.
David was kind enough to spend some time with me discussing his experience and sharing some hard learned lessons regarding starting a new business. I was especially keen to hear his take on local marketing and how to best get a niche product in front of the right people.
