Entrepreneurship Interview Questions

* Hello Ms. Truesdale How are you? I have a few questions to ask you about your business.
1.) What is the name of your company?
The name of my company is Queen City Financial Services.
2.) How long have you been in business?
I’ve been in business roughly 10 years.
3.) Could you tell me what gave you the idea to start your company?
I started my business shortly after I began filing my own taxes. I started helping friends with filing their taxes, and shortly after I opened my business.
4.) Where is your business located?
My business is located in Charlotte NC.
5.) What everyday challenges do you face within your company?
The challenges I face every day are mainly marketing my business, finding honest and dependable workers, and scheduling.
6.) When problems develop how does your management team work to solve them?
When problems arise within my company I evaluate the problem, communicate with workers, and then develop a solution.
7.) How do you motivate and reward your employees?
I motivate and reward my employees by giving them raises, monthly employee rewards, and opportunities for advancement.
8.) When someone joins your company, how do you orient them as a member of your team?
When someone joins my company my staff and I monitor their performance, provide hands on training, and we also have an open door policy.
9.) How do you select people to join your company?
I select people to join my company by conducting job interviews.
10.) How do you keep up with the best practices in your industry?
I keep up with best practices in my industry by taking accounting classes, providing new training, and implementing up to date software.
11.) Could you describe a typical day?
A typical day for me would be arriving at the office early then checking emails and voicemails. I’m also very engaged with my customers and employees. During the day I’m in and out the office meeting with employees and other potential business applicants.
