As Market Development Manager (Vice President) for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management’s community market offices in the Tennessee Valley, Jonathon Hubbard works closely with local leadership and financial advisors to help clients achieve their life goals through a full range of financial solutions and investment strategies based upon the client’s risk tolerance, time horizon, liquidity needs, and overall investment goals. 

From rushing football fields in Charlotte, North Carolina as a high school student, and at Davidson College to Corporate America, Jonathon honed his soft skills on the stage. Believe it or not, he was a theater major pursuing a bachelor’s degree. Improvisation and soft skills practice paid off. During an economic crisis, he saw an opportunity to begin a career in finance that would evolve into a profession affording other people opportunities to build generational wealth. It doesn’t hurt that his family will also benefit from his knowledge.

Ladies and gentlemen, today I had a chance to interview Mr. Yazz Krdzalic. We met through a mutual friend and connected through the LinkedIn network. Mr. Krdzalic is a Director of Marketing and Business Development at Trenton Systems where he is responsible for the development and execution of business development and marketing initiatives to support Trenton Systems’ strategic objectives and goals.

Trenton Systems is a manufacturer of computer systems for military, industrial, and commercial applications. Trenton Systems designs, manufactures and integrates customer-driven computing solutions for mission-critical applications in diverse industries such as government & defense, communications, medical, energy, video walls, high density embedded computing, GPU computing, video processing, and test & measurement – all within their ISO 9001:2015 registered facilities located in the U.S.

follow the numbers

For some, looking at numbers can feel the same every day. Not for Vanessa Tyson. For Vanessa, there is not a typical day. She loves numbers because “they tell a story”. She says “The fun of it is you can go back and look at the spend and how it has changed. Financial statements and budget should support what your mission statement is about.”

She has worked in public accounting for 20 years. She’s so good at what she does that she molds and directs others to “see the financial story”, as well. In her current role, she is a Financial Reporting and Budgeting Manager. What that means is that she is creating budgets and analyzing spending.
