Alan currently holds a position with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department and plans to utilize his masters to help him start a business leading up to his retirement from the force.

The following two part interview is with Susan Brener, owner of Trips Travel, a travel agency located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Susan founded her business in the 1990’s after building up a client base while working for another agency. The interview chronicles how and why she started her own business, what challenged her as an entrepreneur and what she found to be the best part of having her own business.
